The Daxxify Basics
Daxxify is approved to treat forehead lines, glabellar lines, and Crow’s Feet, and is also used to treat a number of other facial muscles. It’s manufactured by Revance, a pharmaceutical company best known for its effective line of dermal fillers (we LOVE RHA at NurturHer, ask us all about these natural looking fillers!). Revance had been developing Daxxify for four years, and it finally dropped in 2023. Unlike Botox and the other leading competitor brands, Daxxify doesn’t contain human serum albumin, a human-derived ingredient needed for stabilization.

How Long Does Daxxify Last?
Clinical trials shows that Daxxify injections can last longer than the other toxins on the market when properly dosed. (Proper dosing is higher units than your typical neurotoxin). Longer lasting results can mean fewer appointments over the course of a year. That’s not even the best part! Clinical results also show that Daxxify improves skin tone and texture- think post facial glow all the time). Finally, Daxxify begins kicking in within 24 hours, with study participants seeing Day 7 Botox results after just the one day.
Daxxify vs. other tox Cost (Hint: Daxxify is Less Expensive)
Daxxify is priced less per unit than the other toxins. While Daxxify dosing requires more units its also typically lasts longer making the price point over a year is actually lower. Accurate estimates require consultation, this may not be the case for all patients.
Other Benefits of Daxxify
In addition to improving skin texture and kicking in incredibly fast, Daxxify is a great option for clients who metabolize their tox unusually fast. Clients who work out regularly or who have fast metabolisms often need tox re-treatment every 2 months. The only potential downside to some clients is that Daxxify does not currently offer a comparable rewards program to Allé, Aspire and Merz Xperience.
