PLASMA MICRONEEDLE

  • Microneedling is also referred to as collagen induction therapy (CIT). Controlled micro-injuries to the skin using tiny sterile needles stimulate collagen growth and regeneration of new capillaries.   • Your practitioner will take a small sample of your blood and then use a centrifuge to spin it up and separate out the PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) from the rest of the blood. This plasma is full of proteins like growth factors and cytokines which help tissue repair itself. It also contains a high concentration of platelets, which is what helps blood clot and is essential for healing wounds and injuries.

    After obtaining the PRP, it is then applied to the desired area and stamped into the skin with MicroNeedles which create MicroInjuries that are too small to permit scarring.
